Join Grippen Park BMX in celebrating the 2012 Olympic Summer Games on June 23rd!
Looking to try out the newest Olympic sport? Have a friend or neighbor already ripping around the block showing off their favorite competitive sport? Come on out and see what the buzz is all about!
Open House 12:00pm-4:00pm – The track will be open for all to ride! Food and refreshments will be available, as will our expert racers and family volunteers to answer any questions and show off what makes our sport so special!
After the Open House, Grippen Park BMX will be joining 300 other tracks across the country and hosting a free race for everyone and anyone!
Olympic Day is a worldwide commemoration of Baron Pierre de Coubertin’s June 23, 1894, convening of the first International Olympic Committee (IOC) meeting at the Sorbonne in Paris, and the founding of the Modern Olympic Games. National Olympic Committees (NOCs) throughout the world will also participate in the international celebration, with each Olympic Committee sending Olympic Day greetings to participating nations.
