Brittany Darling’s Fitness for the Fight

A former 7-year CAL racer, “The Britter” Brittany Darling needs your help.  The 18 year old, Chenango Forks native was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian/Abdominal Cancer and a 5k walk has been organized to raise funds.  Brittany was part of the Wooden Wheels National team which won 2 NBL championships & the team had many members from CAL and she even made it to the World Championship.  Her Mom & Dad were key volunteers at CAL for many years and our tracks success back then and without their whole family we wouldn’t have been that successful.

Brittany has big dreams and is determined to achieve them. She wants nothing more than to be an editorial stylist and to own her own product line and salon. She has even made progress on this dream by copy-writing and trademarking the name which will one day be “B. Darling.” She enjoys life to the fullest and has a positive attitude. She is battling this disease with the heart of a survivor.

First, you can register for the September 5th, 5K walk the Fitness for the Fight by visiting Brittany’s website here.  You can also buy a 50/50 ticket at the next 2 Grippen Park BMX races.  Grippen Park BMX will donate and match the tracks half of the 50/50 on both nights to help Brittany.
